I always look forward to a new year, not that I feel the need to rush time, but it makes me feel like I can leave the bad behind and look forward to new and exciting things life has to bring us for this year to come. 

The simpliest things in nature can create a beautiful picture.  Specially on a cold fall day.  Still see flowers bloom is spectaculiar.

It was such a lovely day on Saturday.  Took a drive up to Portage Des Sioux (small town on Mississippi River)http://www.greatriverroad.com/stcharles/pdessioux.htm.  The scenery looking over to Illinois great river road was breathtaking.  Nice day for a motorcycle ride.

New Day, Same old thing.

Wow! Went to hang at some friends today, cause thats different usually peeps are at my house. But maybe I know why now I usually stay at my house, all guys drink a few beers and they all want to talk to you at once, three conversatons of nodding head yes, um hum, yeah, right. I'm in a world wind now. Everyone in as boring as hell talking about themselves thirty years ago. Never changes, does it.

New Adventures

I've been a big wish wash on this blogging but decided today what I want from my blog and blog experience. I love everything country, homemade, good friends and family fun, taking photos, crafts, this is what I need to focus on so from here forward my blog with be my adventures on learning by others and I am sure some big mistakes(but all in fun) different homemaker things. You know these things like cooking, sewing, and etc. that I currently really stink at but here we to. Because this is life.

Racing Minds!

What to write, what to write. My minds goes from one subject to the next. I want to write inspirational, I want to write about missing Key West, my son moving to his own apartment (leaving us to an empty nest), bittersweets of August. I just started blogging and have been reading so many peoples wonderful, funny, enriching blogs. Where do I start?

Friends to be or not to be.

I got a call from an old friend today. Thought- is she still a friend if I haven't seen in a long time and not even sure if I want to see? The only reason I don't feel like seeing her is she has a BIG drinking problem. When we hung together I liked to drink quite alot also. Now I am older still like to sip a few but not in quantities above my limits. She actually has been drinking liver problems, but now she is better and wants to start again. Scary! Just had an alcoholic friend die from liver problems. I have lots of friends probably because I like people and I like her but not ready to start again with another addict. Thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!
