The Hot Days of August!!!!
Usually August is my favorite month for photographing flowers but this year has been so hot here in the midwest. The plants are just not blooming, I guess it is a defense to the drought we are suffering thru. Actually I think I feel worse watching the bushes, trees, plants and flowers wiltering up than I do for sweaty old me. But sure I'm not the only plant lover out there feeling this way.
It is winter here and we have hardly had any rain following a long dry hot summer, so I sympathize! I see at least you have a few blooms. There is nothing better than a garden blooming to lighten the heart. I hope it improves! have a wonderful week. I am linking up through Mosaic Monday.
ReplyDeleteI agree there is nothing better than a blooming garden. Thanks! We did have a few blooms and some rain has been moving in which is helping. Saint Louis is just not use to 30 days over 100 degrees, but we can't have perfect weather all the time.
